Hello Poppy Soap Co. friends + supporters,
Today I have some very exciting news to share with all of you. Today we are launching our first crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo.
You can check it out by clicking on the image below!
Curious why we’re crowdfunding? Good question. The Poppy Soap team is currently working out of a studio in my garage. We’re thrilled to be taking large orders from customers like The Four Seasons, but in order to better serve our customers, we need the space and equipment to grow our production. With any luck, our Indiegogo campaign will help provide the funds to do just that.
More importantly, the funds will help keep the Bar for Bar program alive. As many of you know, since its founding in 2012, Poppy Soap has been empowering a give-back movement across the United States. We call it the “Bar for Bar” program. For every bar of Poppy Soap purchased online or in stores, we donate an additional bar to a women’s shelter in our customer’s local community. To date, they have donated more than 3,000 bars to women’s shelters across the country.
Until now I have been financially supporting the Bar for Bar program out of my own pocket. As support for the program has grown, the postage is really starting to add up. It’s time to help the Bar for Bar program stand on its own two legs so we can continue making donations to shelters on behalf of our amazing customers. (That’d be you.)
By supporting Poppy Soap Co. you become part of a give back movement and a supporter of women in your local community. You’ll also get your hands (and face) on some awesome Poppy Soap perks. You’ll also become part of a story that proves it is possible to do business that is good for earth, good for people and good for our communities.
If you believe in our product, our company and our commitment to helping women and creating stronger communities, I hope you’ll consider supporting our campaign. If you’re unable to financially support the campaign, please consider supporting us socially. We’d love it if you would help spread the word on your social media channels. Tell your friends! Tell your coworkers! Tell the lady standing behind you in line at Whole Foods! We’ve got big dreams and we’ll need all the help we can get to bring them to fruition.
Thanks for being a part of our story.
